Sales intern for facility management platform startup
We are on a 3-month sprint to build a digital venture in the facility management space. To support our growth, we are looking for an intern to join the sales / customer support cohort and assist in various stages of the sales funnel, including creating awareness of new offerings, generating leads, and retaining customers.
The ideal intern will be a great fit for our energetic and creative team. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.
This role is based in Berlin. We work out of the BCG Digital Ventures office here in Berlin and it would be ideal if you could sit with us. Partially remote would also work, though.
You must speak German natively or at least very fluently. English is less important.
We are moving fast! The ideal start date would be Monday July 19th. Duration is flexible between one and three months. Let's talk about it!
Some details: As a Sales intern, you will:
- Research and generate lists of potential customers
- Be the first point of contact for generated leads and enquiries
- Outreach to high potential partners for our network
- Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature
- Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts
- Assist in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities
- Learn and apply sales techniques
- Maintain sales records
You should have:
- Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business major or experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in German
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Open to talk freely on a phone and work in a structured way
